This new investment in Project Chinook is a bet on the Founder, Phillip Lockwood, and his vision to create the sensing neo-prime. Phillip comes from 5 years as head of innovation at NATO and more recently as handling strategy and international expansion for one of the fastest growing European startups, Stark. Lastly, Phillip has Ukrainian heritage and is placing Ukraine as one of the three main R&D centers the center of Project Chinook, together with London and Nova Scotia (Canada). The initial roadmap will address maritime (sonar systems) and air defense (radar) sensing capability gaps, with a software layer for network integration.
